Our 200 year old Farmhouse enjoys a secluded country location and is surrounded by our working farm on the Berkshire Downs, with the famous Ridgeway only 1/2 mile to the north of the Farm. We are approximately 3 1/2 miles south of the picturesque town of Wantage, which has the statue of King Alfred in the centre of the Market Place. The historic city of Oxford and the towns of Abingdon / Newbury and Didcot (Train Station) are all within a 15 mile radius. F1 Williams, Harwell, Milton Park and Wedding Venues of Lains Barn and Ardington House are all within easy reach.. We are ideally placed for some lovely country walks, as an overnight stop while walking The Ridgeway National Trail, or as a base for visiting the area. Having easy off road access to Bridleways and The Ridgeway, it is perfect for horse-riding and cycling. Circular rides of varying distances are also accessible from the farm. The house is surrounded by woodland and we enjoy the wildlife including Red Kites, Buzzards and many wild birds, hares and deer. We can accommodate up to 6 people in 1 Double and 2 Twin rooms. All with Tea/Coffee making facilities and Hair- dryers. There is also digital television in all rooms and a Sitting room for guest's use. Ample parking for cars. For food in the evening, we are happy to offer a lift into Wantage, where there are many places to eat. Packed Lunches are available by prior arrangement only.
